Manziel the Real Deal

Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel has taken college station by storm, and has quickly become the most popular man on campus. Manziel had a gutsy performance against Florida a few weeks ago, in A&M’s 1st SEC game. A few weeks later, against a familiar SEC foe, Manziel put on a show for the ages. Manziel threw for a school record 453 yards, and rushed for another 104 yards. Going into this season, we all knew A&M had a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball. A strong o-line, two good running backs, and some serious talent at wide receiver. What we didn’t know was how good this red shirt freshman would play. Manziel has not only played well, but he’s become the heart and soul of this young A&M team. Time will tell if he’s able to navigate this offense through the tough SEC schedule, but with Manziel taking the snaps, Aggies all across Texas are ready for the ride.
