Astros trade Lowrie

In an effort to build up the farm system, the Houston Astros traded short stop Jed Lowrie and pitcher Fernando Rodriguez to the Oakland A’s for first basemen Chris Carter and two minor leaguers.  The minor leaguers are pitcher Brad Peacock and catcher Max Stassi.
